Baptism Preparation Class is held quarterly on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in the church. Baptisms are held on Saturday at 12:00 Noon and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Call the parish office to register for class and to schedule Baptism. Next class: January 13, 2020.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is generally administered in the spring of 10th grade. The Confirmation process involves a two-year commitment to formal sacramental preparation. It includes elements of Worship, Word/Catechesis, Service, Retreats, and Parish Life. For more information on the journey, please contact the Faith Formation Office at 973-691-0317.
First Reconciliation will be received prior to First Communion and is normally celebrated in the second grade, with the date and time to be announced. First Eucharist will be scheduled at weekend Masses after Easter, also with dates and times to be announced. For additional information, please call the Faith Formation Office at 973-691-0317.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated on Saturday afternoons from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, or by appointment with the priest. Parish Penance services are celebrated during Advent and Lent. During Lent, confessions are heard every Monday between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
The Sacrament of Healing is available at any time to all who are seriously ill, hospitalized or preparing for surgery, as well as those of advanced age. Please contact the Parish Office to make arrangements for the priest to administer the sacrament. If it is an emergency, please call 973-691-1561, Ext. 14.
Congratulations! Please contact the rectory as soon as possible (at least six months in advance) so that we can work with you to prepare for your marriage. One of the steps involves participation in the Marriage Preparation program.
