Laurice Bonannella and her husband Richard have been parishioners at St. Jude for over 30 years. Richard and Laurice sing in the choir and have been Eucharistic Ministers, Confirmation Teachers and Pre-Cana Team members. They have also recently served on the Men’s and Women’s Cornerstone Teams. Laurice was the St. Jude Director of Religious Education for 26 years (1987-2013). She is a graduate of Queens College (CUNY) with a Bachelors in Secondary Education/English, obtained a Certificate for Coordinators of Religious Education from the College of St. Elizabeth in 1992, and received a Masters in Pastoral Ministry from Caldwell University in 2002.
Laurice enjoys working with children and has spent the last five years as a substitute teacher in Special Education and Language Arts at Mt. Olive Middle School. Richard and Laurice have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
