The Divine Mercy is both a message and a devotion.
The message and devotion are based on the writings of St. Faustina Kowalska, a Polish sister. They are a recording of revelations she received about God’s mercy, captured in a 600 page diary.
The Divine Mercy message consists of asking for God’s mercy, being merciful to others and completely trusting in Jesus. Divine Mercy devotions include the Chaplet, Novena, Hour of Great Mercy and the Feast of Mercy, the Sunday after Easter.
The Divine Mercy Chaplet is recited at 3:00 PM on the first Friday and the second Sunday of each month in the Daily Chapel.
