The vision of St. Jude is to welcome everyone to become ONE Catholic family, with fullness
of life, living the Paschal Mystery, in the Holy Spirit, with Mary as our companion.

Dear Parents and Candidate,
Just a reminder, attendance in Grades 7-8 classes is required for entrance into the Grade 9 Confirmation Program.
Our children need your help! In order to teach our children about their faith we need parents willing to share their faith with young people in our program! This means we need you!!!! We will give you the training you need…all you need is a love of your faith and a love of children. Please contact the Faith Formation Office for information about becoming a Confirmation teacher. Thank you in advance for your willingness to help!
We look forward to a new year together in faith.
Peace and Blessings,
Laurice and Sonia
Welcome to the St. Jude Confirmation Process! The Confirmation process is a journey, mapped out to strengthen and prepare our teens to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation. The path promises to lead our teens to spiritual growth, a deeper understanding of their Catholic faith, and an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. As they embark, teens are called to reflect upon our Baptismal call and answer that call with their lives.
The Confirmation process at St. Jude Parish involves a two-year commitment to sacramental preparation, designed to ready our teens for lives of discipleship. Generally, registration occurs in the Spring of 8th grade after continuous faith formation, with the program beginning in the Fall of 9th grade and the sacrament celebrated in the Spring of 10th grade. Preparation is multi-faceted, offering many opportunities for growth and development through Word/Catechesis, Worship, Service, Retreats, and Parish Life. Following the RCIA model, teens are challenged to mature through periods of Invitation, Formation, Reflection, and Mission. We invite our teens and their families to set out on this journey with hearts that are willing and minds that are open to the movement of the Holy Spirit.
