Dear Family of St. Jude,

It is a privilege and honor to celebrate my seventh Thanks-giving with all of you here at Saint Jude; and I would like to let you know that the holiday I most like is Thanksgiving Day, because on this day we have the opportunity to thank God for all He has given us (life, health, family, happiness, talents, gifts, friends, etc.). Another way to celebrate Thanksgiving is sharing with one another (family, friends, and parish community). But in a special way we celebrate Thanksgiving sharing with the needy people in our community. That’s why here at Saint Jude preparations are underway for our Parish Community’s Thanksgiving Outreach. As many of you know, our Parish assembles and distributes baskets of food for the hungry and the needy here in Budd Lake and you can help in several ways. One way is donating non perishable food, giving a frozen turkey, and making a financial donation that will apply toward the purchase of food for the baskets.
Finally, let us thank God together for the blessings we have received during the past year here at St. Jude; and I hope all of us, on Thanksgiving Day, will share with our families a good oven roasted turkey with good wine. And for dessert a good piece of pumpkin pie.

Advent Is Here
On November 30th at the 5:30 Vigil Mass we began our Holy Season of Advent. Any family and or persons who would like to light our Advent Wreath Candles will have the opportunity to sign up on the sheets located in the Narthex of the Church.

December 14th: Knights of Columbus Blood Drive.
December 14th: Living Nativity at the Mt. Olive Tree Lighting.
December 17th: Advent Penance Service.
January 24th: March for Life in Washington, DC.
